Amsterdam Mokum Tour does not rent boats. Use it with a small electric boat, sloop or other rental boat without a skipper. The rental company does not matter. You may also see these boats described as self-drive rentals. We use 'rental boat without a skipper' because it is clearer.

Can I use Amsterdam Mokum Tour on any rental boat?
Yes. It works with small electric boats, sloops and other rental boats from any provider. You arrange the boat separately.
Do I need a skipper?
No. The app is especially useful on a rental boat without a skipper, but it can also add stories to other private boat trips.
Do I have to follow a route?
No. You choose where to sail. The app uses your location to find stories around the route you take.
Can everyone on the boat listen?
Yes. Play the story from one phone, hold it up for the group or connect it to a Bluetooth speaker when it is safe to do so.
Does it work offline?
No. Keep mobile data and location services on for the map, GPS triggers and audio.
Does Amsterdam Mokum Tour rent boats?
No. Amsterdam Mokum Tour provides the GPS audio tour. You rent the boat from a separate rental company.
